BU275 was a really useful course overall, and I especially appreciated that Feng recorded all his lectures so I could watch them on my own time without needing to attend class. The content itself wasn’t too difficult, it felt like a more visual version of statistics, and honestly easier than a standard stats class. It was definitely math-heavy, but if you’re comfortable with math, you’ll do well, and even if you’re not, just a bit of practice goes a long way. I didn’t study an extreme amount and still did very well, so I’d say it’s a manageable and rewarding course that I genuinely enjoyed.
