This course follows and builds on the concepts from CH110 and prepares students for higher-level studies in the various subdisciplines of chemistry as well other university disciplines. Topics covered include properties of solutions, rates of chemical reactions, equilibria, entropy, free energy and electrochemistry. Prerequisites: CH110 Exclusions: CH100*, CH101, CH121 Registration Notes: Must register in both a lecture and a lab section. All odd-numbered lab sections are offered odd weeks and all even-numbered lab sections are offered even weeks. Must register in both a lecture and a lab section. All odd-numbered lab sections are offered odd weeks and all even-numbered lab sections are offered even weeks.
