I loved this course. You go through a lot of content including how GDP is calculated, and Ken Jackson is just an amazing instructor. He explains concepts well and relates them to real-world issues (such as what stagflation is) or how supply curves shifted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Honestly, if you pay attention during lectures you don't need to study much. Final was 80 multiple choice questions to complete in 2 hours and were easy if you understood course concepts and the supply-demand curve model about GDP. Also, it covers how interest rates work and how it affects the economy as a whole. This course helps you understand how the Bank of Canada's actions impact the economy as a whole. Overall, I would recommend and make sure you get Ken Jackson.

Ken Jackson was an absolute CHAD. Amazing prof who ran the course very well. Do all the quizzes, DSMs and homework and you'll secure a decent chunk of the mark and just pay attention in the first 3 sections of the course, those will reinforce the calculations and concepts that can help you easily do well in the rest of the course. The exams allowed cheat sheets and personally I did really well despite not going to lectures. Don't be like me and put in a little bit of work and you can do really well and boost your GPA since this course is basically a bird course
