Fourier series and convergence. Separation of variables for diffusion, wave
and Laplace equations. Eigenfunction series solutions. Generalized functions
and Green’s functions for one-dimensional boundary value problems. Fourier
transform and convolution.
Prerequisites: MA205; and either MA200 or both MA104 and MA201.
Exclusions: MA455.
