Operations Management

This course examines the role of the operations function in the organization. Topics include product and service design, process selection, scheduling, plant layout, work study methods, inventory management. Project management techniques and basic operations research models are applied in decision-making. Prerequisite: MB235. Exclusion: BU385, MB245.
