Composition I
An introduction to composition, spanning diverse approaches to music creation including outside of the Western Classical music
tradition. Inclusion of oral/aural traditions of all cultures globally. Primarily designed for Year 1 students interested in
pursuing composition: available as an elective for students in any Year of study.
Prerequisites: Admission to the BMus program or permission of the instructor.
