Theory IV
A continuation of MU266. MU268 focuses on the analysis of form and harmony in compositions of increased complexity. It
introduces small and large ternary, minuet and trio, sonata, and sonata-rondo paradigms and explores their compositional
realizations and constituent sub-structures through harmonic and form-functional analysis. The course develops proficiency
in active listening, audiation, and form analysis.
Prerequisites: MU266.
