Course Reviews

Quite an easy course in my opinion which probably won't challenge you in any way and that's why I think DD's should take it over EC250. 3 assignments for the online class, which were all just ripped from the textbook practice problems which meant it was easy to get a high mark. There's a lot of formulas but if you just plug in numbers and pray for then you'll be fine on the exams as well so I would just suggest you do good prep for the exam

EC260 honestly wasn’t a bad course at all and really wasn’t too difficult, though the one thing I didn’t like was that we weren’t allowed a cheat sheet like in EC120 and EC140, which made it feel like there was just so much more to memorize. Still, the quizzes were a lifesaver, if you go through them repeatedly, you’ll be fine. The midterm and final were all multiple choice, and I only studied for about two days each time and still did relatively well, so with more consistent effort you could definitely do even better. Overall, it’s a manageable course, but a cheat sheet would have made it much smoother.
